Configure CA Personal Firewall using the quick method.



Open up the program you want to open ports for.


If you do, then click the Remember my answer for this application checkbox to put a check in it. Then click the Allow button. Now let's open up the Comodo Firewall so we can check the settings in it.


Click the Security button close to the top of the page.


Now click the Application Monitor button on the left hand side of this window.


You should see the program you are trying to open ports for in the Application Control Rules table. The protocol row of that program should be set to TCP/UDP Out. If it is not set to that highlight that program and then click the Edit button.


In the general section set the Action drop down to Allow. Then set the Protocol drop down to TCP or UDP. Set the Direction drop down to Out. Then click the Ok button to save those settings.
