Port Forwarding Warcraft III on the Netgear RT314

What is Port Forwarding?
What is Port Triggering?

We are going to show you how to forward port 6112 TCP, which is the only port that must be forwarded for Warcraft III. You can change the port that Warcraft III uses for hosting on the Options/Gameplay screen. If you decide to change the port that Warcraft III is uses for hosting you should select a port in the 6113-6119 range. You would really only want to do this when you had two computers on your network that were trying to host custom games. Remember that you would need to forward the port that the second computer will be hosting on to the second computer.

To setup port forwarding on this router your computer needs to have a static ip address. Take a look at our Static IP Address guide to setup a static ip address. When you are finished setting up a static ip address, please come back to this page and enter the ip address you setup in the Static IP Address box below.

Do not skip this step!

Select SUA Server Setup from the list.

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Warcraft III requires you to forward the 6112-6119 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Multiple Server Configuration menu.
